In the United Kingdom, ProLogis has worked with the Variety Club, a philanthropic organization, to deliver assistance. Through this relationship ProLogis had the opportunity to assist a school in the west of England in late 2007. The Elmfield School for Deaf Children needed a new bus for its pupils, and it turned to the Variety Club for help. With ProLogis’ support, the Variety Club was able to provide the new bus, which now ferries students to a variety of activities and appointments throughout Bristol.

Recently, the principal of a kindergarten in Budapest, Hungary, sought help from the community after his school building had fallen into disrepair. ProLogis employees volunteered their time and refurbished the building by repairing playground equipment, planting trees and painting the building’s interior.

ProLogis has offered assistance to Emma's Children's Hospital in Amsterdam for several years. With our help, the research they conduct will hopefully lead to cures for many of the life-threatening diseases that cripple children throughout the world.
