For every five million square feet ProLogis developed in China, we committed to building a school in rural areas of the country. By the end of 2008, we had completed four with more underway. Now children in the village of Wan Fu, as well as those in the city of Dalian and the counties of Zhonging and Tongxin, can enjoy a future full of the possibilities that education affords them.

In the hands of our team in Japan, simple art supplies become a source of inspiration and excitement. Every quarter, ProLogis volunteers create patterns from cardboard and paper that children use to construct game pieces while they visit a logistics museum in Tokyo. This ProLogis board game becomes an educational as well as invigorating tool for children who are learning what role logistics plays in their daily lives.
